Family businesses are key players in the economic organization, as they represent the most important part of wealth generation. In Spain they represent 89% of the total companies and are the largest generator of employment with 67% of employment and 57.1% of GDP in the private sector.
The family business worries us, and it does not cease to have the same characteristics as another company. The essential difference is in its connection with the family group that has a direct influence on its governance and management.
